Vascular anomalies are a heterogeneous group of congenital blood vessel disorders more typically referred to as birthmarks. Subcategorized into vascular tumors and malformations, each anomaly is characterized by specific morphology, pathophysiology, clinical behavior, and management approach. Hemangiomas are the most common vascular tumor. Lymphatic, capillary, venous, and arteriovenous malformations make up the majority of vascular malformations. Vascular anomalies embody a myriad of blood vessels abnormalities that are thought to occur perinatally. Correct diagnosis is imperative for appropriate treatment. Treatment of vascular anomalies is complex and often involves multiple disciplines and therapeutic options. At our center we have dedicated team of physicians and surgeons who work as a team and have successfully treated more then 25 cases every year.
